I created a new weapon by copying the Short Sword weapon in the demo and renamed it. I cannot equip this weapon.

The item shows in my inventory. It does not show as an option for equipping, however, just the long sword. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I did try to create the same weapon from scratch following the tutorials with the same result; couldn't equip. So, I tried the copy method.

Hi there Keyboardcowboy,

So your weapon won't equip, huh? You mentioned that you copied and pasted the new weapon - and by doing so, ORK does not automatically flag the weapon as being usable by the class the player belongs to.

To fix your issue, go to Combatants > Classes > Default Class, and simply check the box next to your new weapon to tell ORK that your class can use it.
