edited June 2014 in ORK Support
Hi, just checking out the framework and wondered if it's possible to have an NPC perform an AI routine through ORK? Or would I need 3rd party assistance?

Basically what I mean is:
The NPC walks to a certain area, say a black smith area and performs an animation such as hammering a sword, or whatever. After a task is complete the NPC then goes and sits down. All while being able to be interacted with i.e. open a dialogue if spoken to. So in other words is it possible to give an NPC a schedule through Ork? To make the world seem alive.

Thanks

  • Yes, that can be done by either using Autostart game events that send the NPC to their different targets and animates them there, or by using a Move AI with idle events that animate him when he reached a waypoint (e.g. a forge).
