Is there a way to use UI Menu screens before the game session starts in a separate scene?
The idea would be sorting out the upgrades (abilities, stats, shortcuts...) and saving the changes before starting the actual game, without spawning any combatants.
Not before starting the game, but when starting a new game, you can use menu screens, e.g. in your start schematic.
E.g. add a combatant to the player group, use a
Call Menu Screen
node to open the menu - player can do stuff in it - and once the menu is closed, the schematic continues and you can spawn the player.
