Hi
After switching from Legacy to newUI i've got a serious problem with buttons in menu screens.
I really need use disabled state to make special buttons (e.g. options with requirements)
Is it normal that after opening the second menu (submenu) , the old one changes all buttons to disabled state? How to avoid this situation?
I set this sprite with a padlock in the button prefab as disabled sprite.
Project is done in ORK2 and I can't change it to ORK3.

Maybe someone had the same problem and found a solution.

    Could you @gamingislove, or anyone knows how to turn off changing buttons state to disabled when the window loses focus in newUI ?

  • It's not really the buttons that are getting disabled - the canvas group of the whole GUI box is set to not be interactable when not focused.

    That's how this always has been.
