I'm not sure if i'm just using it incorrectly, well i'm not too sure how to set it up to check the amount of items in the specified item box xD

Sorry about the lack of detail, was getting into a game at the time.

If i want to be able to check if the item box has a certain amount of items in it, do I have to make a variable in order to use "Check Item Box" to check how many items are in the variable?

  • Select your item box in the scene and you should see it's Box ID (below the button to get a new ID).
Just copy that text into the Value field of your Check Item Box step (and set the Value Type to Value).

The rest is similar to checking float variables, select the check type (e.g. Is Less) and define the number used for the check (e.g. Value and 2).
