I'm seeing the following error message when my starting event for a new game is fired upon loading the starting scene. Didn't see this until v2.5.8. I can load a previously saved game without any issues.

  • I have a similar problem, which is also related to "bonus" [1].

  • Yep, that's a bug :)
    Check the random status value bonus settings of the equipment you're adding to the player's inventory in the start event. If you have the Add Bonus Range set to Random without adding any status value bonuses, select All instead for a quick fix.

    That did the trick. I had overlooked one of the items I was experimenting with and left the range set to RANDOM.
