I have a bit of an issue with item stacks. If I buy a few hp potions they stack and there's no problem. However, if I have an enemy dropping a hp potion, it will become a new stack every time. So after 3 drops I'll have three seperate '1 x hp potion'. At this point the stack of bought potions will still be fine.

Do you have any idea what could cause this?

using Unity 2018. I tried updating, but that broke so many things that I'd rather not in this case.
  • Check your Add Items Type setting in Inventory > Inventory Settings. This controls how items are stacked, e.g. Auto Stack will stack them, while Add would just add them as-is (e.g. adding a new stack of 10).
