Ork 3 - Root motion?

Haven't tried Ork 3 yet. It sounds pretty nice. Does the native control system that it comes with support root motion? I know I can use a custom controller, but I'm just curious.

    The Button player control uses a Character Controller for movement, AFAIK that's not compatible with root motion (at least it wasn't some time ago).
