How to hide menu during choosing targets?

During battle, I'd like to hide the menu and only display the target highlights while choosing targets. I'm using Multi Mode so I'd also like to temporarily hide those menus too while selecting targets.

I tried to disable the Use Target Menu under Battles > Target Settings, but the menu is still showing. I'm not overriding targeting behavior in my Battle Menu.

What's the best way to do this?

    I ended up giving up on using Multi Mode and making an invisible target menu, which works okay for now, although Multi Mode menu looked pretty nice :')

    Yeah, multi mode is currently not hidden when no target menu is used - just the target menu is not displayed.
    Will look into adding options for that.
