Hi GiL! About your wonderful upcoming stunning product... Do you think there will be a possibility of some (basic) procedural level generation? I noticed that 2D rogue-like uses a really simple system (in Unity tutorial, didn't try Makinom one yet), do you think a feature like this could be possible/could be added to your new Asset?
Well, it can basically become as advanced/complex as you like and set it up to be. And if there's something missing, I can add it in future updates :)
The Makinom 2D roguelike project uses the simple random level generation shown in the Unity tutorial. Here you can see how the schematic is set up (the next tutorial handles setting up the machines).

Gotcha. Looks great! I'll have to find a way to make it all play nice with a library of premade setpiece tilemaps (Think Rogue Legacy) but I have a pretty good idea about how to go about it. :D
@Kirb Well, you can use prefab resources using multiple prefabs (e.g. all kinds of grass tiles) with random sequence. The 2D roguelike tutorial generates the level using this technique.
@Catacomber If you hold your iPad sideways (landscape), the new discussion button should be at the side just like on desktop :) And yes, just like with ORK, you can just import the full version over the free version and continue working on your project. Making a backup before that is probably a good idea just to make sure. If it happens to import the full version DLLs as new content, remove the old DLLs and rename the new outside of Unity (i.e. explorer/finder), otherwise Unity will scrap the script connections.

But considering my project after DG will be a rogue-like, I am also interested in how advanced the generation logic can get.

If I start a new Makinom game with the free version, will I be able to update easily to the Pay for version or will it require a fresh start?
