Hello there, I am using autoanimation on my combatants and I have the following issue:
On some of them despite setting their state transitions to "Has exit time" and even setting an amount of seconds the animation stops playing in the middle and switches to the next one. For example 1/2 of Attack1 animation will play and then it'll switch to Attack2 where the same thing will happen, resulting to a choppy animator.
Any thoughts on that?

  • Might be some movement animation taking over shortly, so their transition could impact that.
    Mecanim is best used without the auto movement animations of combatants. It's better to forward the movement speed as a parameter and have the animator controller handle this. E.g. the 3D Action RPG tutorials use such a setup.
