I was trying to get a globe to work as a healthbar and used the fill from bottom to top and picked a globe as image. However that didn't really work for me.
I therefor wonder if someone has it working and could give me some instructions here?
Hello thrilled, I have not implemented yet though is on my todo list for the tutorials series I am creating. Brainstorming a bit, maybe I´m wrong but, I will handle it by creating a custom UI prefab since ORK seems to use just the bar ui approach, make sure the prefab is attached to the _ORK gameobject canvas UI as child of it (you can see it when running the game in the hierarchy tree panel). The tricky part would be to handle the variables communication between ORK and the UI prefab in order to fill the globe according to your combatant health.
Thanks for your input! I am sure looking forward to se your tutorials. Do you have any up and running already?
Well the reason I was asking is that you can actually specify to use an image when it comes to the Default Value bars (if you look at the status value-->Display Settings-->Default Value Bar. I thought I might be able to use a Globe Image here and fill that one up in some way ;)
@thrilled: regarding the tutorials I still need to do a formal presentation in the tutorial´s forum thread, but I can spoil a bit by sharing is about making a gameplay clone of FFXIII Lightning returns, so it is an ambitious one, but showing at the end the power of ORK Framework, Unity and Asset store support. The big con right now is I have only partial weekends to dedicate in full to it, so trying to make it simple at first and will be adding complex or not so simple stuff later on (like custom HUDs which are an essential part of the gameplay where you need to switch squematas and reuse custom maps to bind attacks to the same keys).
@wtyson: by "use ugui" you meant the Legacy Unity GUI? I certainly can not fin the ORK UI Component you mentioned. I´m trying to use Unity new GUI since it way to go from my point of view.
