they will when they go to change the setting on bmg :P and yeah spelling comes later when i actually do all my skills ^^ yeah that one interior took me 10 hours cause i had to keep messing with the shaders to make them more cartoony to match up to what i have going. it was very time consuming but now i got everything set an ready for when i go do my next one so shouldn't take as long . so im hopping to get 2 or 3 done tomorrow
cause its not just music its back ground music :P I could but then sfx would get lonely standing by it self :P but I might be changing it nothing yet is final once i get down to being able to polish off the gui i will be doing some changes then
So things are starting to come together piece by piece i have been able to pull in a composer for all my game music an sfx also the same person will be doing a few voices in the game! more on this can be found here Nissyoku Games. Im Hopping i can find a female voice actor at some point to do the main characters voice. but there's plenty of time between now and game completion..
About typos and misspellings---the best beta testers you can find for your game will be very good at finding those---because a game with them looks less professional.
I've always been happy to have testers who were extremely good at finding such booboos---and I have advanced degrees in areas where language arts should make me impeccably not a misspeller---but quick typing will always do you in. : ) And I text so much think have forgotten how to spell love even, it's always luv and recently has sunken to lut.
Glad things are coming together. ^^ You have a really good graphics sense.
yeah im trying to test things as i go as well. like atm my light mapping is way off i havent baked any of my lights yet. so my module system is showing lines in the shadow were things come together. but as of now thats the least of my worries. Im not sure if im going to go the beta tester route just yet i do got a few people i can ask to do it but i might just play the game 100 times checking everything my self ^^
The pics are really nice like all the others. You can't catch all of your own bugs yourself---that's one thing I've learned after 7 years of game-making and your beta testers can give you some valuable insight on game play here and there. You could probably ask in the Unity forum. : )
Or more better---on your own website. : ) Suggest changing "Armors" to "Armor".
BTW--thanks for pointing me in the right direction to fire my Fireball. : ) The tutorial for Battles 2 or whatever. Thanks very much for that. I just wanted to let you know it worked for me inserting the steps there into the no calculation battle event, cause using damage dealers you don't use calculation. Still have a small problem with dying but that has nothing to do with firing the fireball. that works fine now. Thanks again.
Looking forward to Sora's progress. : )
Betatesting with beta testers is so rewarding---give it a try when you're ready. It adds an element of fun to game making. : ) Or an element of suffering sometimes but it's all good.
When I first started making games--I made free games with open beta testing and had such wonderful fun. Then I got a practical partner --- who is great --- and I still manage to have fun beta testing my not free games. : ) Betatesting my games has been one of the most wonderful experiences. Plus it's necessary. As mentioned, you will seldom catch your own worst bugs. : )
np problems glad your fireball works now! yeah i probably will have a beta testing but i think ill keep it local to the area i live in for now. since this is not a free game. but i got people who are willing to play through if i asked them to. but then again i could always set up a password protected page and a web player now that i think about it.
For Soul Screen, wonds s/b wounds
They look great graphically. The interiors look very warm and inviting.
